Ege Akpinar obtained his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Özyeğin University. He studies the effects of regular ritual participation on mental health in Alevis in Istanbul as part of his master’s thesis project at Altınbaş University in Istanbul. His research interests are social identity and health, social cure and participation in religious rituals.
